On this Sunday night’s live in concert feature presented by BMW of Columbus, our headliner is The Eagles!

A few weeks after releasing their landmark album, “Hotel California,” The Eagles set out on a massive tour. The band was already exhausted, but the performances were nothing short of spectacular!

This weekend, we’ll listen to a concert from this tour captured live in our nation’s capital area. It was March 22nd, 1977 at the Capital Centre in Landover, Maryland.

On Sunday night’s “Live in Concert” feature presented by BMW of Columbus, our headliner is Elton John!

This weekend, we’ll hear the concert Elton John himself says is the most memorable in his career.

Why is it so memorable? After losing a bet about his new song “Whatever Gets You Through The Night” reaching number one on the Billboardcharts, former Beatle and music legend John Lennon made good on the bet and joined Elton John on stage! We’ll hear that legendary jam session, and the rest of Elton John’s concert as well.

It was captured live at Madison Square Garden in New York City on November 28th, 1974.

This weekend, we’ll hear a classic concert from Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band.

It doesn’t get much better than this- it was captured live at Boston Garden on October 6th, 1980, during the tour to support his landmark album, Against The Wind. Seger and the guys were sounding their absolute best!

“Turn The Page,” “Katmandu,” “Night Moves,”– they’re all there in the setlist, and a lot of other classics too!

After not only years, but decades of inactivity, E-L-O has had a total re-birth!

Back in 2014, BBC Radio 2 in London was staging their annual “Festival In A Day.” When they booked E-L-O to headline the festival, 50,000 tickets sold out in just 15 minutes! Since then, the band has enjoyed more success than any other time in their career!

This weekend, we’ll listen to that concert that rebooted E-L-O! It was captured live at Hyde Park in London on September 14th, 2104.

The headliner for this week’s Live in Concert presented by BMW of Columbus is REO Speedwagon

Live from Boston Garden in Boston, MA on July 15, 1981

 

On November 21st, 1980, REO Speedwagon released “Hi Infidelity.” The album stayed at number one on the Billboard album chart for a mind-blowing 15 weeks!

While that was going on, the band launched a major tour. This weekend, we’ll hear a concert from that tour- it was captured live at Boston Garden, in Boston, Massachusetts, on July 15th, 1981.

The headliner for this week’s Live in Concert feature presented by BMW of Columbus is Journey

Live from Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas, NV, October 17, 1973

This weekend, we’re going to “Sin City” to listen to a legendary Journey performance from March 8th, 2008.

Journey played this concert at Planet Hollywood on the Las Vegas strip. It’s noteworthy that it was one of lead singer Arnel Pineda’s very first performances with the band, and he’ll blow you away!

Journey delivered hit after hit, anthem after anthem! With Pineda’s boundless energy, the band seemed rejuvenated and they were performing as well as they ever had.

On This Week’s Live in Concert Feature presented by BMW of Columbus, our headliner is The Rolling Stones

from Forest National Arena, Brussels, Belgium on October 17, 1973

 

Don’t miss out hearing this legendary performance by one of rock’s biggest names, The Rolling Stones!

This weekend, we’re going back to their 1973 tour. While playing in Europe, The Stones ran into a serious problem. Due to previous drug charges, guitarist Keith Richards had been banned from entering the country of France. How would the band satisfy the millions of French fans? They scheduled a concert in nearby Brussels, Belgium. And it was quite a concert! They played the Forest National Arena on October 17th, 1973.
